The highly anticipated film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel "It Ends With Us" now has a confirmed release date. Sony Pictures Releasing announced that the movie will hit theaters in the United States on August 9, 2024.

Previous Release Date Changes

Originally scheduled to premiere in theaters on February 9, 2024, the release date for "It Ends With Us" has been delayed twice. In July 2023, Sony Pictures announced the film's release would be pushed to August 9, 2024. Then, in April 2024, it was further delayed by seven weeks, moving the release date to October 25, 2024.

Cast and Adaptation

The film stars Blake Lively as Lily, the protagonist of Hoover's novel. Justin Baldoni, Jenny Slate, and Hasan Minhaj also appear in the film. The screenplay is written by Christy Hall, based on Hoover's novel.
